FAQ > Product Division FAQs > What if my Leased Line data circuit has an outage?

Search the FAQ for entries containing:

If your leased line has an outage, once service is restored your DSI modems should auto renegotiate within 15 minutes of service restoration if left uninterrupted.  Should faster restoration of operator control be required, remove the power connector from the rear of the UCS-1000 Controller.  Allow unit to remain powered down for 60 seconds and restore power.  Select the camera site in question to verify communications/control has been restored.  It may take up to 3 minutes for the data communications to be restored while the modems are “handshaking”.  As well, you can use a test set to listen/monitor the line circuit for modem signals. If the Leased Line is suspected as an issue, you can measure the level of the data signal at any available demarcation, patch panel, punch block or jack terminal point and compare it to the acceptable range published in your TMS-3000 User’s Manual.
